Description
The Victron MultiPlus-II 12V combines a pure sine-wave inverter, adaptive battery charger and automatic transfer switch in one dependable unit. Choose from 3000VA, 4000VA or 5000VA models to suit your power requirements.
Designed for demanding applications, this inverter charger suits caravans, motorhomes, boats, workshops and off-grid power systems. Furthermore, each model provides reliable 230V power for appliances, tools and sensitive electronic equipment.
Victron MultiPlus-II 12V Pure Sine-Wave Power
The pure sine-wave inverter produces clean and stable 230V AC power from your 12V battery system. Therefore, it can safely operate sensitive electronics alongside everyday appliances.
High peak-power capability also helps start demanding equipment, including pumps, compressors and electric motors. However, your battery bank and cabling must be correctly sized for the selected model.
Powerful Adaptive Battery Charging
Each Victron MultiPlus-II 12V model includes an adaptive multi-stage battery charger. It automatically manages bulk, absorption and float charging stages for dependable battery care.
Choose between these three power levels:
- 3000VA: 2400W continuous output, 120A charger and 32A transfer capacity
- 4000VA: 3200W continuous output, 160A charger and 32A transfer capacity
- 5000VA: 4000W continuous output, 220A charger and 50A transfer capacity
PowerControl and PowerAssist
PowerControl lets you set the maximum available current from shore power, mains power or a generator. Consequently, the charger reduces its demand when other appliances require more power.
PowerAssist goes further by supporting a limited AC supply with energy from the battery. Once demand drops, available power can recharge the battery again.

Fast Automatic Transfer
If mains, shore or generator power disconnects, the MultiPlus-II quickly transfers connected equipment to inverter power. This rapid transfer helps computers and other electronics continue operating without interruption.
A second AC output can supply appliances that should only operate while external AC power is available. For example, this may include water heaters or other heavy loads.
Solar and Off-Grid Compatibility Victron MultiPlus-II 12V
The Victron MultiPlus-II 12V works with off-grid, backup and supported energy storage systems. It can also be combined with Victron solar controllers, battery monitors and GX communication devices.
Compatible monitoring options allow system performance to be viewed locally or remotely. Additionally, settings can be configured for the requirements of your battery bank and installation.
Built for Flexible Power Systems
Multiple compatible units can be configured for parallel or three-phase operation when greater capacity is required. This flexibility makes the range suitable for advanced mobile, marine and stationary power systems.
Professional configuration ensures the inverter, charger, batteries, protection devices and cabling operate safely together.
Choose Your Victron MultiPlus-II 12V
Select the 3000VA model for capable everyday off-grid power. Alternatively, choose 4000VA or 5000VA for larger appliances and higher charging capacity.
