The HiLux N80 Dual Battery Kit from Custom Lithium gives your Toyota HiLux a dedicated power source for touring, camping and everyday work. It pairs an Australian-made Ultra Slim lithium battery with a vehicle-specific mounting tray that fits behind the rear seat. That keeps the tub free for tools, recovery gear or camping equipment.
Use the auxiliary battery to run gear such as a 12V fridge, camp lights and USB chargers. With a properly configured dual battery system, those accessories draw from the auxiliary battery while the vehicle’s starter battery is kept for starting the engine.

HiLux N80 Dual Battery Kit fitment
Custom Lithium lists this kit for the Toyota HiLux N80 from 2016 to 2024, including the 2024 48V HiLux. The tray mounts behind the rear seat and provides space for a compatible DC–DC charger, battery shunt and fuses.
Fitment note: The rear vent needs modification to fit the tray, and some vehicles may need further adjustments. Check your model year and cab configuration before ordering. If you have a 48V HiLux, confirm the charger and installation setup for your vehicle before buying.
Choose your Ultra Slim battery capacity
- 100Ah Ultra Slim: The smallest capacity option. A starting point for a fridge, camp lighting and device charging when you drive regularly between stops.
- 200Ah Ultra Slim: Twice the rated capacity of the 100Ah. Consider it for longer stays at camp or when you run more 12V accessories each day.
- 230Ah Ultra Slim: The largest listed capacity option. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm which mounting tray suits this version.
Start with what you want to run and how long you’ll be parked between drives. A fridge that cycles overnight and a few lights have different power needs from an inverter setup. If you plan to run an inverter, check its current draw against the battery’s discharge rating and have the wiring and protection sized for the load.
What’s included in the HiLux N80 Dual Battery Kit?
The base kit includes the selected Custom Lithium Ultra Slim battery and a HiLux N80 mounting tray. The battery uses LiFePO₄ cells and includes a built-in battery management system and active cell balancing.
The DC–DC charger, battery monitor, fuses and wiring kit are not included in the base kit. Custom Lithium lists the REDARC BCDC Core 25 and Core 40 as optional chargers. The right charger depends on your battery, vehicle and how you use the setup. A battery monitor is also an optional extra if you want to track how much power you’re using at camp.
