What is a Tuff Anchor and what does it do?

The Rola Tuff Low Mount Anchor Kit is a small yet strong threaded, stainless steel, anchor point, designed to maximise the carrying capacity of you cross bar.

It creates a more secure fitment for vehicles that don’t have a factory anchor point and provides an alternative to the traditional strap mount fitment. The preferred method of fitment for off-road use, the Tuff Anchor is seriously tough.

For too long, some of the most popular vehicles on our roads have been limited in carrying capacity due to roof rack load ratings. The Tuff Anchor is rated up to 100kg* and has been specifically designed to ensure that your vehicle utilises its full carrying capacity.

The Tuff Anchor is installed into the roof through the weather strip on your vehicle, creating a strong and easy-to-access, threaded anchor point for roof rack installation.

ROLA Tuff Anchor doesn’t interfere with any door frames or weather strips and looks more sleek and polished than the traditional strap mount fitment. When removed, the anchor point looks like a part of the vehicle, leaving the aesthetics unaffected.
