A Dual Battery Isolator is an electrical device that allows you to charge two batteries from a single charging source. It does this by separating the two batteries electrically so that power can only flow from one battery to another when the charging source is active. this ensures that the primary battery is always charged and ready to start the vehicle while the secondary battery is used for other purposes such as powering accessories or camping gear.
There are different types of dual battery isolators available in the market. Some of them are manual and some are automatic. the manual ones require you to switch between batteries manually while the autmatic ones switch between batteries automatically. This one is automatic.
