The BCDC1225D REDARC is a tough 12V 25A under bonnet DC to DC battery charger. It is built for 4WDs, caravans, campers, and touring vehicles that need reliable auxiliary battery charging.

This charger is fully sealed and potted. Therefore, it can handle heat, dust, water, and vibration. It is a great option for harsh Australian conditions and engine bay installs.

Smart Alternator and Solar Charging

The BCDC1225D can charge from your vehicle alternator and solar panels at the same time. It includes a built-in MPPT solar regulator, which helps get the best performance from your solar setup.

It also features Green Power Priority™. This means the charger uses solar power first when available. As a result, it reduces load on your alternator and makes better use of free solar energy.

Battery Compatibility BCDC1225D Redarc

This REDARC battery charger suits 12V and 24V vehicle systems. It also works with standard alternators and variable voltage smart alternators.

It can charge several battery types, including:

AGM, Gel, standard lead acid, calcium, and lithium LiFePO4 batteries.

Ideal Battery Bank Size BCDC1225D Redarc

For most setups, the BCDC1225D suits battery banks between 75Ah and 200Ah.

However, if your battery bank is over 200Ah, REDARC recommends stepping up to the BCDC1240D for higher charging capacity.
